What is SWESA?

The SouthWest Edmonton Seniors Association (SWESA) is a registered charity non-profit association established in 2011 to address the social, cultural and recreational interests of people over 55 in southwest Edmonton.

SWESA has grown rapidly as a grassroots organization.  In November 2011, five people came together to form a committee to respond to the need for seniors programs in southwest Edmonton.  Now SWESA is a registered charity with a volunteer board of directors, many volunteers and three employees dedicated to providing opportunities for seniors to gather to pursue their interests, socialize and discover new activities.
